Within the scope of the MoRe Project, the SHEQ Technician will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and monitoring of the Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety at Work), guaranteeing compliance with legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal requirements. This professional will play a key role in promoting a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement throughout all phases of the project.

The main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and practices aligned with the SHEQ Integrated Management system;
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards;
  • Guarantee compliance with legal and contractual requirements applicable to the project activities;
  • Coordinate training, information, and awareness actions regarding SHEQ for employees and subcontractors;
  • Conduct internal audits and regular inspections, identifying non-conformities and proposing corrective and preventive measures;
  • Ensure the management and control of SHEQ technical and operational documentation;
  • Prepare performance reports and SHEQ indicators, ensuring reporting at the contractual, project, and market levels;
  • Promote continuous improvement of processes and the creation of a safe and sustainable working environment;
  • Collaborate closely with the project’s multidisciplinary teams and local communities.

Job requirements and competency profile:

  • Higher Technical Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred);
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Safety, Environment, and Quality roles, preferably in agroforestry, environmental, rural development projects, or similar large-scale sectors;
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards;
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP tools (preferred);
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
  • International Driving License (preferred);
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills;
  • Analytical mindset, with a strong sense of responsibility and adaptability to multicultural contexts;
  • Collaborative leadership spirit, team-oriented, with a focus on sustainability;
  • Mobility availability.
