Responsibilities or duties

JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Analyst is responsible for delivering data-driven insights that support sales strategy, revenue growth, and operational efficiency across the department. The role focuses on analyzing performance drivers across consumer distribution channels, monitoring commercial KPIs, and providing actionable intelligence to optimize sales performance, market penetration, and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

1.Sales Performance Analysis & KPI Management

  • Analyze and track key sales and commercial KPIs, including subscriber growth, CMS, SOGA, distribution performance, and channel partner commission.
  • Compile and analyze historical and real-time sales data to identify trends, drivers, risks, and growth opportunities
  • Forecast sales and commercial KPIs to support business planning, budgeting, and strategy execution.
  • Review productivity and performance across sales channels (Franchise partners, Brand ambassadors, distributors, Team Leaders, and Frontline team)
  • Support sales-related operational requirements in alignment with regulatory and commercial needs

2,Reporting, Insight & Decision Support

  • Prepare accurate, timely, and high-quality reports using data from internal systems, sales systems) and external market sources.
  • Evaluate competitor, industry, and market data to benchmark performance and identify best practices.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for sales leadership and senior management.
  • Develop dashboards and presentations that communicate performance clearly and support data-driven decision-making

3.Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Network, Customer Experience, and Regulatory teams to align analytics with business objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with management teams to provide insights on performance trends, issues, and improvement initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional projects and initiatives through analytical inputs and performance tracking

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

JOB QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Commerce, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong business and commercial acumen with advanced analytical, numerical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large and complex datasets.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Word, and database tools (e.g., Access).
  • Strong understanding of reporting, forecasting, and data visualization techniques.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Experience needed

  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in an analytical, commercial, or reporting role, preferably within telecommunications or a related industry.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets related to sales performance, customer behavior, or commercial metrics
