ABOUT THE ROLE

Chinamwali Private Secondary School invites applications from suitably qualified, dedicated and experienced professionals to fill the following vacant positions:

1. Secondary School Head Teacher

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors Degree in Education plus a recognized teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as Head Teacher, Deputy Head Teacher or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership, management and communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of secondary school policies and Malawi secondary school curriculum.
• Must be a person of high integrity and professionalism.
• Registration with Teachers Council of Malawi.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implementing school programs in accordance with Ministry of Education guidelines.
• Planning, coordinating and supervising teaching and learning activities.
• Developing school timetables and managing teachers' workloads.
• Overseeing day to day administration, learner discipline and school operations.
• Building positive relationships with parents, teachers and education stakeholders.
• Leading curriculum implementation and monitoring teacher performance.
