Responsibilities or duties
Operational Leadership: Manage the daily deployment of security personnel, ensuring 100% alignment with client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) company policies and operating procedures and governing labor laws.
Contractual & Risk Management: Oversee the site’s risk profile, conducting proactive site vetting and maintaining zero un-manned posts. Ensure 100% compliance with internal audits and our mandatory security principles.
Incident Management: Lead the investigation of security incidents, ensuring 100% of major incidents are investigated with root cause analysis reports submitted within agreed timelines.
People Management: Ensure a well disciplined and informed workforce by conducting monthly coaching sessions for team members to foster a compliant and high performance culture.
Reporting & Data Integrity: Ensure 100% submission of weekly/monthly operational reports by the requested deadlines with complete data integrity.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for the client, acknowledging all queries and resolving issues within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Business Management, Security Management, or a related field. (Candidates must possess a valid MSCE).
Experience needed
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a supervision role, with a demonstrated record of successfully managing a standalone, medium to large scale remote contract.
Training & Certification: Possession of a Supervisory Training Certificate and other leadership certifications from reputable institutions is an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
Digital Literacy: Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office (Sheets/Excel), and digital reporting tools.
Security: Strong base investigation skills and deep knowledge of Malawian labor laws and national safety legislation.
Attributes: High level of integrity, a clean traceable record of employment conduct, and the ability to proactively anticipate client needs in a high pressure environment.
