Zomba Diocese Health Commission operates under the Social Directorate of the Catholic Diocese of Zomba. Its mission is to advance the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by promoting human life and providing preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services in a holistic manner. This is achieved through participation in collaborative networks and partnerships, aligned with the needs and capacities of the communities, and in accordance with Catholic core values and principles, to ensure the delivery of the high- quality services, the Commission is seeking to recruit motivated and experienced individuals for the following vacant positions at one of its health facilities St. Robert Health Centre (Sitima).

Responsibilities or duties

Entering data into the Ministry of Health data base

Ensure that data collection tool such as registers are properly filled.

Ensure that all facility reports are timely written and submitted to the District Health Office

Provide monthly, quarterly and annual facility reports to the Management.

Ensuring that data collected has been analyzed and graphs have been constructed to give meaning

Enforce data management indicators to ensure consistence, reliability and completeness.

Ensure quality data at the facility by providing mentorship on HMIS and other data related issues.

Ordering Data set blank forms and registers from District Health Office

Collecting SLA Data from all departments, which provide SLA Services

Ensuring that all SLA Data is completed in all required registers.

Provide SLA Data and reports to authorities.

Appraise staff under his/her charge

Maintain the inventory

Performing any other duties assigned from time to time.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

Certificate in information technology from reputable institution

Possession of a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Clerical Officer.

Experience needed

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Clerical Officer.

Any other provided details (e.g., benefits, work environment, team info, or additional notes)

Ability to work independently and in a team

Effective communication and numerical skills

Time management skills

Problem identification and solving skills

Computer literate.
