Background

Local Government Service Commission in Malawi periodically recruits professionals for various district, municipal, and city councils on three-year contracts.

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and managing project schedules for large-scale civil works while also driving digital transformation and innovation within the department .

Project Planning

Develops comprehensive, logic-linked baseline schedules (CPM) for complex civil works tenders and active projects using Primavera P6 .

4D BIM

Leads the creation, management, and analysis of 4D BIM schedules to visually simulate construction sequences and identify clashes .

Digital Development

Identifies and implements solutions to automate project reporting and data collection, and evaluates emerging project management platforms and AI tools .

Change Management

Acts as a bridge between site teams and the digital development team for training and onboarding staff on new digital workflows .
