Overview
MobiPay Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software, Systems and Web Developer to join its growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications, internal systems, and web platforms that support MobiPay’s digital payment and service platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and web-based systems
- Develop, manage, and maintain company websites and internal platforms
- Support and maintain internal systems, servers, and databases
- Integrate and support third-party systems including mobile money, USSD, SMS, and APIs
- Ensure system security, performance, and data integrity
- Troubleshoot and resolve software, system, and network-related issues
- Prepare technical documentation and user guides
- Provide technical support to users and departments
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in software, systems, and web development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#
- Strong knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, CSS frameworks, JavaScript frameworks)
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
- Knowledge of server administration, networking, and cloud services will be an added advantage
- Experience with mobile money integrations, USSD, and payment systems will be an added advantage

- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
