About Us

Lumina Creative Labs is a remote digital agency producing stock photography with local talent across Malawi. Our work appears on global platforms and tells authentic African stories through images. We use AI to help generate metadata — keywords and descriptions — and we need sharp human eyes to make sure everything is accurate, clear, and ready to publish.

What You Will Do

• Read through AI-generated photo descriptions and keywords, and correct any errors, awkward phrasing, or inaccurate tags.
• Ensure keywords are relevant, specific, and follow stock platform best practices (who, what, where, mood, context).
• Check that every photo featuring a person has a signed model release on file.
• Review photos for basic quality — sharpness, composition, and suitability for commercial use.
• Flag anything that looks wrong, missing, or unclear so it can be corrected before submission.
• Complete a set number of images per session and log your work in a shared tracker.

Pay & Benefits

• Hourly rate: MK 5,000 per hour worked
• Break pay: Paid break included in every session
• Data costs: Reimbursed
• Withdrawal fees: We cover mobile money withdrawal fees

The role currently covers a few hours per week — ideal as a side income alongside studies, another job, or caring for family. Hours may grow over time.

What You Need

• Strong written English — you will be editing text, so accuracy matters.
• A smartphone or laptop with a reliable enough internet connection to open our dedicated portal and view images and videos.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Comfortable following a checklist and flagging issues clearly.

We Do Not Require

• A university degree or formal qualifications.
• Previous experience in photography or stock platforms (we will train you).
• A fixed location — you can work from anywhere in Malawi.
• Fixed working hours — you choose when you complete your sessions.
• Uninterrupted power — we understand that load shedding is a reality for many. Because you set your own schedule, you can simply work around it.
