STORES CONTROLLER

Duty Stations: Blantyre and Mzuzu

Reporting to: Finance Analyst

Role Summary

The Stores Controller will be responsible for the effective management and control of all inventory and stores operations to ensure accurate stock levels, security of materials, and uninterrupted support to production and distribution activities. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, loss prevention, compliance with company procedures, and timely availability of materials and spares.

The position involves overseeing receiving, issuing, storage, stock counts, reconciliation, documentation, and reporting, as well as supervising stores personnel. The successful candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding company assets, ensuring accountability, supporting production continuity, and maintaining high standards of control, discipline, and operational efficiency within the stores function.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in inventory or stores control, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • High integrity, strong attention to detail, and sound reporting skills
