Credit Data CRB invites applications from suitably qualified, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Systems Administration Officer.

Responsibilities or duties,

Installing new systems and rebuilding existing services, settings, directories, storage, and related infrastructure in accordance with established standards and operational/project requirements.

Researching and recommending innovative and, where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks.

Performing daily system monitoring by verifying the integrity and availability of all systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and ensuring completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

Repairing and recovering systems from software failures.

Providing server support related to various software applications.

Performing ongoing performance tuning and resource optimization as required.

Carrying out regular file archiving and purging where necessary.

Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.Career counseling

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),

Degree in any related ICT field from a recognized institution.

Knowledge of any version control systems

Knowledge of any scripting language

Linux experience

Knowledge of tools that monitor and control a number of processes on UNIX-like operating systems.
