Background
Zelotees Christian Academy situated Nyambadwe Blantyre invites applications from suitably qualified and committed individuals to fill the following part-time teaching positions:
1. Part-Time Science Teachers
- Mathematics
- Additional Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
2. Part-Time Humanities Teachers
- Geography
- History
- Social and Life Skills
Duties and Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be expected to:
- Prepare and present lesson plans in line with the school curriculum
- Teach subjects of their area of specialisation effectively
- Assess, record, and monitor learners’ academic progress
- Maintain discipline and provide guidance to learners
- Perform any other duties assigned by school management
Personal Attributes
Applicants must demonstrate:
- High levels of integrity and professionalism
- Strong commitment to teaching and learner development
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- A Degree in Education from a recognised institution, or
- A Degree in a relevant Science or Humanities field plus a recognised teaching qualification (UCE)
Experience
A minimum of two (2) years teaching experience in either public or private schools
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: bachelor degree
