JOB DETAILS:

Background

Astellic is seeking to engage a short-term Technical Specialist to support a bid submission for a baseline survey and environmental assessment assignment in Malawi focused on food security, resilient livelihoods, climate-smart agriculture, gender inclusion, and community resilience programming.

Areas of Interest

We are particularly interested in professionals with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Food security and livelihoods programming
• Climate-smart agriculture and resilience
• Agricultural economics or rural development
• Environmental safeguards / environmental impact assessment
• Community-based development programming

Additional Experience

Experience with donor-funded programmes, mixed-methods assessments, and baseline/endline studies will be an added advantage.

Engagement Scope

This engagement is specifically for consortium/bid development and potential technical support during assignment implementation.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
