JOB DETAILS:
Background
The Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Malawian candidates to fill the following temporary positions within the Corporation.
Job Purpose
To maintain gardens, landscaped areas, trees and outdoor grounds in a clean, attractive and well-maintained condition.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Planting and caring for flowers, trees and shrubs.
- Mowing, edging, aerating and raking leaves to maintain neat grassy areas.
- Clearing debris, litter and green waste from pathways, car parks and communal areas.
- Cleaning, servicing and safely storing gardening tools and equipment, including lawnmowers and trimmers.
- Performing other related gardening and grounds-maintenance duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must have:
- Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
- At least one (1) year of relevant work experience.
