Light Media Limited is a digital services and software company building and operating business systems and services for clients in Malawi. We are looking for a Videographer to own visual content production end to end — scriptwriting, video shooting, editing, delivery, and photography.

What you’ll do

• Writing and refining scripts and shot lists from content plans
• Shooting video content for the business and its clients
• Editing and delivering finished videos on time
• Photography — product, event, and brand shoots, edited and delivered
• Using AI tools to speed up ideas, scripts, and editing where useful
• Other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for

Non-negotiable:

• Proven ability to both shoot AND edit video — not just one
• Able to handle photography as well as video
• Minimum 1-2 years hands-on shooting and editing experience
• Able to work independently once given a brief, with reliable availability

Minimum:

• Comfortable with at least one editing app (CapCut, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
• Basic scriptwriting ability — can turn a brief into a simple script
• Basic comfort using AI tools for content or editing work
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

A plus:

experience producing content across multiple clients or brands; AI-assisted content or editing workflows.
