JOB DETAILS:

The position is responsible for accurate stock control, stacking, and coordinating tobacco flow while implementing system and operational procedures

WHAT YOU WILL DO: RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee warehouse operations by verifying tobacco receipts, coordinating dispatches to the factory, and maintaining accurate stock records.
• Oversee seasonal worker performance through task allocation and results monitoring.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure availability and functionality of warehouse resources and systems as well as manage trainings.
• Ensure timely daily reporting including equipment performance and assessment of off-season maintenance needs

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in any of the following: Logistics, Accounting/Business Administration or Agricultural related studies.
• 3-5 years’ experience in warehousing and processing with a demonstrated knowledge of LeafPoint or any other system used for green tobacco accountability.
• Fluent in oral and written English, fluent in oral Chichewa.
• Strong planning and organizing skills, logistical management, project management, leadership, communication and problem solving. Tobacco leaf skills is an added advantage

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: bachelor degree
