Position: Electrical Technician (2 Positions)

Job Description

  • Processing and completing work orders/job cards.
  • Installing new electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of electronics.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical failures.
  • Performing equipment upgrades and modifications.
  • Hands-on repair and servicing of machinery.
  • Reading and interpreting schematics.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Computer literate.

To Succeed in This Role

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of electrical systems, a solid mechanical understanding, and excellent troubleshooting skills. A top-performing Electrical Technician installs, repairs, and maintains electrical equipment with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and completing work orders/job cards.
  • Communicating with clients to understand equipment needs.
  • Ordering equipment, spare parts, and repair modules.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Installing electrical components and industrial equipment.
  • Testing and inspecting newly installed systems.
  • Troubleshooting electrical failures.
  • Maintaining stock levels.
  • Replacing worn seals, motors, and related components.
  • Advising clients on repairs and alternatives.
  • Servicing and repairing electrical systems.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documents.
  • Strong mechanical understanding.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Computer literacy is required.
