Responsibilities

The AC Technician is responsible for maintaining optimal comfort for guests and staff by ensuring all air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems operate efficiently .

Maintenance & Servicing:

Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on all HVAC equipment, including split units, fan coil units (FCUs), air handling units (AHUs), chillers, and refrigeration units .

Troubleshooting & Repairs:

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Repair or replace defective parts like compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats .

Guest Service:

Respond promptly and professionally to guest room maintenance requests related to air conditioning and ventilation .

Compliance & Safety:

Handle refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations and adhere to all health, safety, and hotel operating procedures .

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities .

Energy Conservation:

Support energy conservation initiatives by ensuring HVAC systems operate at peak efficiency .
