Workforce Recruitment Services seeks to recruit for the following position on behalf of a Client.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ensure timely preparation of accurate IFRS-compliant management accounts and statutory financial statements.
  • Manage the Fixed Asset Register and oversee the review and maintenance of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including those of MRA, RBM, the Pension Act, and the Companies Act.
  • Oversee cash flow and liquidity management and maintain effective relationships with banking institutions.
  • Strengthen internal controls, finance policies, and procedures, and coordinate external audits.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to Management and the Board.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance staff while driving continuous improvement in financial systems and processes.

Qualifications or requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Full professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA.
  • Must be a member of ICAM.

Experience needed

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Experience in Health sector is an added advantage
