OVERVIEW
The Malawi School of Government (MSG) is a unique higher education Statutory Corporation established under the Malawi School of Government Act No. 33 of 2022.
MSG invites applications from suitably qualified, innovative and results-oriented individuals to fill the following position:
POSITION: ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Grade: SG7
Duty Station: Secretariat - Lilongwe
Reporting to: Director of Administration
Job Purpose:
To coordinate the delivery of efficient administrative, office support and records management services.
Key Duties:
- Coordinate and monitor office administrative services
- Coordinate official meetings, events and ceremonies
- Monitor sanitation, hygiene and workplace standards
- Coordinate outsourced administrative support services
- Supervise and appraise support staff
- Maintain asset register, inventory and records management
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management or related field (NCHE accredited)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant post-qualification experience
- Demonstrated experience in implementing Performance Management Systems
Competencies:
Strong organizational & supervisory skills, knowledge of office administration & asset management, excellent communication, ability to work under pressure, high integrity, proficiency in MS Office.
