Malawi Airlines is the national flag carrier that operates B737-700, B737- 800 and Q400 Aircrafts having direct flights to regional cities of Johannesburg; Lusaka; Harare, Nairobi, Entebbe and Dares Salaam; besides daily domestic flights between Lilongwe and Blantyre.

ACCOUNTANT (HEAD OFFICE – LILONGWE)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill in the position of Accountant based at Head Office (Lilongwe). The position holder will be reporting to the Finance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist support management accounting function
• Process flight data weekly
• Prepare monthly flight profitability report
• Prepare periodic budget / actual cost analysis
• Assist in budgeting.

Qualifications and Work Experience

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent from recognized institution.
• MSCE
• At least 2 years’ working experience
• Knowledge of accounting packages
• Those with SAP experience will have added advantage.
• High level proven integrity.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: bachelor degree
