JOB DETAILS:
OVERVIEW:
Lotus Africa Limited seeks a qualified and motivated individual to coordinate all planning activities at Kayelekera Uranium Mine. The role ensures effective maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination to minimize equipment downtime and support safe, efficient operations.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a maintenance planning environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project), and CMMS (e.g., Pronto).
- Experience with condition monitoring systems.
DUTIES:
- Draft annual maintenance plan/matrix for mobile equipment and align with production/finance budgets.
- Plan and prioritize maintenance work orders based on safety, production needs, and equipment criticality.
- Develop monthly PM schedules and distribute to relevant departments.
- Track maintenance KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, schedule compliance) and generate performance reports.
- Provide monthly reports to the Senior HV & LV Workshop Supervisor.
- Monitor equipment performance and schedule corrective maintenance to prevent downtime.
