Organisational Context
Stephanos Foundation is a Reformed Christian faith-based international non-governmental organisation (NGO) located in Chilangoma, Chileka, Blantyre, Malawi. Established in Malawi in 1994 through an initiative that originated in the Netherlands, the Foundation is committed to improving the welfare of orphans and vulnerable children through various care and development programmes. Stephanos Foundation is duly registered with the Council for Non-Governmental Organisations in Malawi (CONGOMA), the NGO Regulatory Authority (NGORA), and the Employers’ Consultative Association of Malawi (ECAM).Maps
The Stephanos Foundation is therefore inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated individuals to fill the following four positions, which are full-time, three-year contracts, based at Chilangoma in Blantyre.
POSITION: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Reporting to: The Principal
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with student registration and maintain fees and academic records.
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to departments.
- Coordinate record-keeping systems, office administration, and reporting procedures.
- Manage office supplies, equipment inventories, and maintenance requirements.
- Prepare reports, analyse administrative data, and provide information and support services.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
- Self-starter with excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player.
