Background
The Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA), an organization entrusted with the assessment, collection, and accounting for tax revenues for the Malawi Government is inviting applications from versatile and suitably qualified candidates to fill the above vacant positions in Human Resource Division.
Overall Objective
To provide efficient administrative and secretarial support to the divisions by managing schedules, maintaining documentation, coordinating correspondence, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations in order to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of the divisions.
Main Responsibilities
- Planning and organizing divisional activities
- Maintaining calendar and scheduling meetings.
- Filing and maintaining documents,
- Handling correspondence, managing mail and documentation
- Maintaining office supplies
- Formatting documents
- Performing administrative tasks such as processing bills, vouchers, travel planning, membership renewals, among others
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of Diploma in Business Studies or Diploma in Secretarial Studies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated proficiency in typing business letters and correspondence.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in a busy and reputable organization.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management, planning and organization skills.
- Ability to work with Teams.
- Detail oriented
Successful candidates before being appointed will undergo an extensive background check of their integrity. Only when the vetting exercise is favourable shall the Authority make the appointment.
