Job Description
To drive the execution of agency banking sales, distribution, and operational strategies within the assigned region. The Regional Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding agents, managing their performance, delivering training programs, and ensuring sustained transaction growth. This role is pivotal in expanding the agency network and enhancing service delivery to achieve regional business objectives.
Qualifications
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in financial services, or FinTech, with a strong background in sales and distribution.
- Proven track record in field sales, agent network management, or mobile money operations (minimum 3–5 years).
- Strong understanding of agency banking models, digital financial services, and regional market dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and travel frequently within the region.
- Skills in agent onboarding, relationship management, operational oversight, and troubleshooting.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and basic data analysis and reporting capabilities

Key Responsibilities
- Drive regional agency banking growth by achieving sales, transaction, and customer acquisition targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents to ensure loyalty, engagement, and sustained performance.
- Recruit, assess, and onboard qualified agents, ensuring alignment with business standards and strategic goals.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to agents through regular field visits and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism guidelines.
- Deliver training and capacity-building sessions for agents on products, systems, and customer service excellence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for agents, resolving operational challenges and ensuring business continuity.
- Gather market intelligence, analyze performance trends, and submit timely reports to inform regional strategy.
