Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar setup for every shift.
• Requisition beverage stocks, condiments, and operating equipment in accordance with set par levels.
• Welcome guests warmly, present drink and food menus, offer tailored recommendations, and take orders accurately.
• Prepare and serve drinks and food items while adhering to premium mixology and service standards.
• Process guest billing efficiently and participate in regular stock counts and inventory management.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Food and Beverage Services from an institution recognized by NCHE.
• A full Malawi School Certificate of Education.

Experience

2 years’ experience in a busy Hotel bar.

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of mixology and beverage service standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for customer service.
