JOB DETAILS:

Bible Knowledge & Life Skills

The teacher is responsible for biblical studies and developing students' life skills, moral values, and personal development.

Bible Knowledge Component:

• Biblical Knowledge: Teach the content, themes, and teachings of the Old and New Testaments.
• Scripture Analysis: Guide students in reading and interpreting Bible passages, understanding their historical and cultural context.
• Values and Ethics: Use biblical teachings to discuss moral and ethical issues, fostering character formation.
• Comparisons: Compare biblical teachings with other worldviews and belief systems.

Life Skills Component:

• Personal Development: Cover topics such as self-esteem, goal-setting, decision-making, and emotional intelligence.
• Health and Well-being: Teach topics on nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, HIV/AIDS awareness, and drug/substance abuse prevention.
• Interpersonal Skills: Develop communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Career Guidance: Provide basic career guidance and future planning.
• Citizenship: Cover topics on rights, responsibilities, and community participation.

General Teaching Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, using discussions, group work, and reflective activities.
• Set, administer, and mark tests, assignments, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, orderly, and safe classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate student records and communicate with parents/guardians on student progress.
