We are preparing a manufacturing business in Malawi focused on traditional Korean beverages and alcoholic drinks.
Responsibilities or duties
- Management of alcohol production and fermentation processes
- Overall production management from raw material intake to final product shipment
- Compliance with hygiene and safety standards, as well as staff management and training
Qualifications or requirements
- Basic understanding of fermentation processes or similar production processes (food, beverage, etc.)
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer documentation work
- Ability to manage production staff and production schedules
Experience needed
Hands-on experience in production environments such as alcoholic beverages, beverages, or food manufacturing
Knowledge of traditional Korean alcohol production methods
Any other provided details
- Strong willingness to learn and self-develop
- Proactive attitude and leadership with a positive mindset
- Strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work collaboratively with persons with disabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Majors related to brewing, food science, microbiology, biochemistry, or chemical engineering
- Experience in fermentation processes and quality control (QC)
- Experience in microbiological testing or laboratory-based quality control work
