AREAS OF SPECIALISATION
We are seeking lecturers in the following areas:
Business Information Technology (BIT) Lecturer
- Deliver high-quality lectures in information systems, database management, e-commerce, cybersecurity, and business data analytics.
- Facilitate student learning through hands-on labs, software applications, and IT project management exercises.
- Develop and update course materials to keep pace with emerging technologies, digital transformation, and IT governance.
- Conduct research in areas such as IT adoption in business, data privacy, digital marketing, and technology-driven innovation.
- Participate in community engagement by offering digital skills training and IT solutions to local businesses and community organizations.
- Mentor and support students in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, preparing them for IT and business roles.
- Participate in academic and administrative activities, including lab supervision and IT resource planning.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree in a relevant field (PhD is an added advantage).
- Relevant teaching and/or industry experience.
- Strong commitment to academic excellence, student development and research.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic university environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
