JOB DETAILS:

We are Hiring

CHEF (2 POST)

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma/Certificate in food production, culinary arts, professional cookery, hospitality management or related field
• At least 1 years' service experience in a restaurant, lodge or commercial kitchen
• Applicant must possess the ability to maintain confidentiality and Professionalism at all times
• Applicants must demonstrate excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
• Applicants must be well groomed, attentive to detail, capable of working under pressure, and willingness to work shifts

DUTIES

• Prepare and cook quality meals for various events and clients in accordance with approved recipes
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Collaborate with head chef in menu planning, recipe development and the preparation of special meals for conferences and functions
• Ensure efficient food production and service
• Monitor inventory levels, receive and inspect food supplies, ensure proper storage and stock rotation and minimize food wastage.
