Overview

Will Kitchen Food and Lodge Limited is seeking a skilled and creative Chef to lead kitchen operations, deliver high-quality meals, and maintain excellent food standards.

Job Overview

The Chef will be responsible for preparing meals, managing kitchen staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and contributing to menu development and innovation. Careercounseling service

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare meals including appetizers, main dishes, sides, and desserts
  • Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and timely service
  • Manage and supervise kitchen staff, promoting teamwork
  • Develop new menu items and specials
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained
  • Monitor food quality and kitchen equipment condition
  • Order supplies and manage stock levels
  • Train and guide kitchen staff on cooking techniques and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of cooking and food preparation techniques
  • Experience using a variety of kitchen equipment
  • Certification such as a food handler certificate (preferred)
  • Culinary qualification or relevant experience

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong leadership and supervision ability
  • High level of creativity in food preparation
  • Ability to follow and adapt recipes efficiently
  • Attention to detail and quality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or extensive hands-on experience
  • Experience in a managerial kitchen role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Experience with diverse cuisines and ingredients
