Responsibilities or duties
Duties
- Plan, manage, and supervise the operation of all parliamentary audio-visual systems.
- Ensures uninterrupted technical support during parliamentary proceedings.
- Coordinates repairs, servicing, and replacement of defective equipment.
- Maintains equipment inventories and technical documentation.
- Supports television, radio, and online broadcasting of parliamentary proceedings.
- Ensures professional production standards for all audio-visual materials.
- Develops technical specifications for procurement of audio-visual equipment.
- Participates in ICT, broadcasting and other audio-visual infrastructure projects.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications or another closely related discipline
Experience needed
- two (2) years' work experience in Audio-Visual systems management.
- Applicants with demonstrated experience in live television broadcasting, digital broadcasting systems, video production or streaming technologies will have an added advantage.
