Background

Daeyang Luke Hospital (DLH) is a fast-growing Mission hospital under the Christian Health Association of Malawi (CHAM). Daeyang Luke Hospital aims to glorify God by loving and serving anyone who is in need. In pursuit to achieve the goals and objectives of the hospital, DLH is seeking to engage the services of the following positions.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose and manage conditions within the scope of practice

Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and minor procedures as appropriate

Provide antenatal, postnatal, and family planning services

Participate in health promotion and patient education activities

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical standards

Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology

Registered with the Medical Council

Valid practising licence

At least two (2) years' relevant work experience will be an added advantage

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion

Strong organisational and time management skills

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12

Level of Education: bachelor degree
