PARLIAMENT OF MALAWI
PARLIAMENTARY SERVICE COMMISSION VACANCIES
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the existing following vacant posts in the Parliamentary Service.
Responsibilities or duties
- Coordinates, identification and implementation of research priority areas; for effective and effective and efficient National Assembly operations;
- Initiates and reviewing policies and strategies relating to Research Activities;
- Analyzes Research Proposals from various stakeholders;
- Prepares appropriate reports on Research activities carried out by the National Assembly;
- Coordinates Research programs and mobilize resources for their implementation; and,
- Appraising staff under his/her charge.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
A Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or Public Policy or Political Science or Public Administration or another closely related discipline plus a minimum of two (2) years' work experience in research work at supervisory level. Applicants with demonstrated experience in parliamentary research or public policy analysis, as well as those possessing a Master's Degree in relevant field will have an added advantage.

A minimum of two (2) years' work experience in research work at supervisory level.
