JOB DETAILS:

POSITION: Cleaner

Job Summary:
The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic healthcare environment by cleaning clinic facilities and supporting infection prevention and control measures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Clean consultation rooms, wards, offices, washrooms, and common areas.
• Disinfect surfaces according to healthcare hygiene standards.
• Dispose of waste safely and appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning and hygiene supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of clinic equipment and furniture.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare facility is preferred.
• Knowledge of hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Location:
