Job Overview
The Clinical Officer will provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, minor surgical procedures, and specialized clinical services. The role requires a highly skilled professional capable of working in a fast-paced healthcare environment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Consultation
- Diagnose and treat patients
- Perform minor surgical proceduresHR consulting services
Specialized Clinical Services
- Provide services in antenatal clinics and deliveries
- Support HIV/ART clinics
Collaboration & Referrals
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals
- Refer patients when necessary
Medical Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Prepare reports as required
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a busy medical facility
- Must be registered with the Medical Council of Malawi
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Remuneration
A competitive package will be offered based on qualifications and experience.
