Rumphi District Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to support revenue collection activities across designated markets within the district.

Job Overview

The Commission Revenue Collectors will be responsible for collecting market revenues, issuing tickets, and ensuring proper handling and banking of collected funds.Career counseling services

Employment Details

Type: Contract

Remuneration: Commission-based (20% of total revenue collected)

Key Responsibilities

• Sell tickets to market users
• Accurately collect and manage revenue
• Deposit collected funds into the bank
• Submit banking slips to the Council Cash Office

Qualifications and Requirements

• Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
• Valid National ID
• Must indicate nearest preferred market
• Must be available on market days
• Must be sober and responsible while on duty

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: high school
