ABOUT LIFE MINISTRY MALAWI

Life Ministry Malawi is an Interdenominational Christian Organization that has been serving in Malawi since 1979. We do this through Evangelism and Discipleship among High School and Campus Students, Professionals, Executives and Churches. We are looking for a qualified person to fill the above mentioned position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy to advance the ministry’s goals.
• Manage all internal and external communications, ensuring a consistent and compelling voice.
• Curate and create engaging content for the ministry’s social media platforms (Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram) and website.
• Develop and disseminate newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts.
• Capture and produce high-quality photos and videos for promotional use.
• Manage the ministry’s brand identity across all channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a born-again Christian and an active member of a local church.
• Minimum of a diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a strong advantage.
• Experience with photography and videography.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Has good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Is flexible in their approach to work.
• Must be a mature person with a good reputation.
