Responsibilities or duties

Conducting community health assessments to identify prevalent health issues and healthcare needs within the community.

Implementing health improvement measures and facilitating access to resources that enhance overall health outcomes.

Providing essential medical services, health education, and community support with a focus on disease prevention and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.

Collaborating with individuals, families, groups, and communities to assess needs and develop appropriate care pathways.

Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements while maintaining professional conduct in accordance with the Trust’s policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

College Diploma in Community Health Nursing/Midwifery Technician

Licensed to practice by the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi
