Background

Direct Aid International is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Male Teachers to join its teaching staff at Lilongwe Boys Islamic Secondary School and Dedza Girls Islamic School. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering quality education, preparing lesson plans, assessing learners, and maintaining a positive learning environment while teaching the specified subject combinations.

Key Requirements

  • Male applicants only.
  • Must be below 40 years of age.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education (Credit or Upper Second Class) from the University of Malawi or Mzuzu University.
  • Must possess original MSCE certificate, degree certificate, or original academic transcripts.
  • Must be registered with the Teachers Council of Malawi.
  • Must have a valid National ID.
  • Strong teaching skills and passion for education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans.
  • Teach assigned subject combinations effectively.
  • Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Conduct and mark periodic tests.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, disciplined, and positive classroom environment.
  • Support learners in achieving academic excellence.
