JOB DETAILS:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates of Malawian origin to fill vacant posts existing under Mzuzu City Council to help the management of the Reformed Constituency Development Fund (CDF) in three constituencies, namely Mzuzu North, Mzuzu South East and Mzuzu South West.
Constituency Works Supervisor (3)
Grade: M8
Duty Station: Constituency Development Office
Qualification
Applicants must be in possession of a Grade One (1) Trade Test Certificate or Diploma in Building Construction or Carpentry trades, or its equivalent, obtained from a recognized institution.
Duties
I. Participate in project identification, appraisal and consolidation of Constituency Annual Investment Plan (AIP).
II. Conduct site inspection, in liaison with the Contractor and Director of Public Works (DPW).
III. Report progress of projects to the Director of Engineering.
IV. Update the Project Management System platform.
V. Support Constituency level assessments using Local Authority Performance Assessment Tool.
VI. Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
