Role Description

This is a consultancy role based in Lilongwe with field travel in other districts. The role involves designing and conducting research projects, overseeing data collection and analysis, and preparing comprehensive reports. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with ethical standards, and effectively communicate research findings to stakeholders. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with team members and external partners to develop robust programs and strategies.

Qualifications

Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop evidence-based recommendations

Proven research expertise, including experience with data collection and analysis

Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and stakeholder engagement

Experience with Institutional Review Board (IRB) procedures and compliance standards

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Familiarity with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) frameworks and methodologies is an asset

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Research, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)

Proficiency in using research software/tools is an added advantage
