Role Overview
The Creative & Program Director is responsible for leading the conceptual development and execution of all creative projects and public-facing programs. This role bridges artistic vision, client strategy, and operational delivery—ensuring that every campaign, event, or content piece is innovative, on-brand, and executed on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership: Lead the creative direction for key accounts, campaigns, and proprietary programs; conceptualize and present high-level ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Programming Strategy: Design and curate seasonal/annual programming (events, exhibitions, digital drops, or content series) that aligns with business goals and audience engagement metrics.
- Team Management: Direct and mentor a multidisciplinary team (designers, copywriters, producers, curators); oversee workload allocation and creative reviews.
- Production Oversight: Partner with production and operations to scope, budget, and schedule programs from pitch to post-mortem.
- Quality Control: Maintain creative standards across all deliverables—visual, written, experiential.
- Client & Partner Relations: Lead creative presentations and act as senior creative liaison for key partners, sponsors, and talent.
- Innovation: Research emerging trends in design, technology, and audience behavior to evolve the company’s creative product.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in creative direction, program development, or related role (agency, media, cultural institution). 4+ years managing teams.
- Portfolio: Demonstrated work across multiple formats (digital, live, print, video). Strategic thinking evident in case studies.
- Skills: Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and presentation tools; fluent in creative briefs, user journeys, and production pipelines.
- Soft Skills: Excellent client-facing communication, conflict resolution, and rapid prototyping mindset.
- Education: Bachelor’s in Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Success Metrics (KPIs)
- Program attendance / viewership vs. target
- Client retention and satisfaction (CSAT)
- On-time, on-budget delivery rate
- Team engagement and retention
