We are a growing duly licensed non-deposit taking microfinance institution regulated by the Reserve Bank of Malawi, dedicated to providing affordable and accessible digital financial solutions to individuals and small and medium enterprises in Malawi.

JOB PURPOSE

The Sales Agent is responsible for directly identifying, engaging, and securing eligible civil servants to achieve individual loan disbursement and customer acquisition targets. Operating within an assigned territory, the role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing the end-to-end loan application process, and strictly adhering to company policies and regulatory compliance standards.

Areas of Focus

Mangochi District

Mangochi Boma, all T/A’s, Mponda, Nankumba, Chimwala, Chilipa, Nabvi, Mbwana Nyambi, Lulanga,

Machinga District

Target areas Liwonde town, and the following traditional Authorities (TA’s) Chamba, Chikweo, Chiwalo, Kapoloma,liwonde, Ngulumia, Nkoola, Nkula, Nyambi, Sitola and Nyumwanyumwa

Zomba District

Target areas include Zomba town, Tradition authorities Chikowi, Mbidza, Mulumbe,Nkapita,Namadidi, Lamusi and Idana

Key Requirements

Minimum qualification: MSCE Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting or any related field will be an added advantage.

Previous experience in direct sales, banking, microfinance, insurance, telecommunications, solar products or customer service will be an added advantage.

Retired civil servants and applicants with strong networks within government institutions are encouraged to apply.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.

Must own an Android smartphone and possess a valid National ID.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market campaigns and recruit new customers.

Promote Liwiro Finance Civil Servant Loan Products.

Assist clients with digital loan applications and required documentation.

Build and maintain relationships with government institutions and employees.

Identify new business opportunities within the assigned area.

Submit daily and weekly sales activity reports.
