Role Overview: To support the design, planning, and implementation of YCN’s programs and youth-led projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing project concepts, proposals, and implementation plans.
• Support the coordination and logistical planning for workshops, trainings, and community projects.
• Monitor project timelines and activities, ensuring they align with objectives.
• Help in mobilizing volunteers for specific program activities.
• Assist in collecting data and stories from the field for program documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Good writing and basic research skills.
• Interest in project management and community development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

• Mobilize youth and youth organizations within the district to join and participate in YCN activities.
• Establish and manage a district-level youth volunteer committee.
• Organize and lead regular district meetings, forums, and community outreach events.
• Represent YCN at district-level stakeholder meetings with government, NGOs, and traditional leaders.
• Identify local community needs and opportunities for youth-led projects.
• Submit monthly activity and situational reports to the National Office.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to mobilize and motivate peers.
• Basic report writing skills.

• Resident of the specific district with strong local knowledge and networks.
• Passion for community development and youth empowerment.
