Chibuku Products Limited (CPL), Malawi’s leading manufacturer and distributor of opaque beer brands Chibuku Shake-Shake, Chibuku Super, and non-alcoholic beverages including Maheu Super, invites applications from results-driven, passionate, and self-motivated Malawians (men and women) to fill the following positions across our brewery network.
Responsibilities or duties
The Driver Salesman is responsible for achieving route sales targets through effective product selling, customer servicing, and cash collection, while ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional operation of company heavy-duty vehicles. The role combines frontline sales responsibility with high-skill driving duties, including delivery, collection, and precise vehicle shunting within the yard.
The position requires strict adherence to traffic laws, safety standards, and company distribution procedures, as well as proper care and handling of assigned vehicles. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining customer satisfaction, protecting company assets, minimizing vehicle damage and downtime, and supporting overall distribution efficiency through disciplined driving and sales execution.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- MSCE with credits in English and Mathematics
- Aged 30–50 years
- Valid Class CE Driver’s Licence with 3 years’ continuous driving experience
- Minimum 1 year sales experience
- High integrity, strong communication skills, and no alcohol-related health issues
- No criminal record
- Achieving route sales targets through effective product selling, customer servicing, and cash collection.
