Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing safe, efficient, and professional transportation of staff, products, and project materials
- Supporting field activities, trainings, stakeholder engagements, and operational logistics
- Ensuring that company vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and properly maintained at all times
- Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting faults or maintenance needs promptly
- Maintaining accurate vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and travel schedules
- Strictly observing road safety regulations and organizational transport policies
- Practicing and promoting defensive driving principles to ensure passenger and vehicle safety
- Assisting with deliveries, errands, and other administrative support duties when assigned
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Minimum of Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
- Valid Malawi Driver’s License (Class C1 or higher preferred)
- Minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience
- Certificate in Defensive Driving is mandatory
- Good knowledge of routes within Lilongwe and other districts in Malawi
- Strong understanding of road safety practices and vehicle care
- Honest, reliable, responsible, and professional
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel when required

- Punctual and dependable
- Respectful and professional in conduct
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically fit and ready for field assignments
