Job Summary

We are urgently seeking a dedicated and professional Driver to join our dynamic and innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of staff, goods, or documents, while ensuring compliance with road traffic regulations and company procedures, and performing assigned duties with efficiency, reliability, and accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY

  • Safely transport staff, goods, or documents to designated locations.
  • Ensure compliance with road traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain the assigned vehicle in good condition through regular checks and servicing.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes) before and after trips.
  • Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance.
  • Report any accidents, faults, or incidents promptly.
  • Assist with loading and offloading when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper care of the vehicle at all times.
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or equivalent.
  • Valid C1 Category G driver’s license
  • Proven experience in driving light trucks or similar vehicles.
  • Strong defensive driving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and under pressure.
