English & Chichewa Teacher
Position Summary

The English & Chichewa Teacher will develop learners' communication, literacy and literary appreciation while supporting high academic achievement in both languages.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach English Language, English Literature and Chichewa as assigned.
• Develop learners' reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills.
• Prepare students for national examinations.
• Assess learner progress and maintain academic records.
• Support co-curricular activities and boarding responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education specializing in English, Chichewa, Languages or a related dual-subject programme.
• Minimum four (4) years' teaching experience in both subjects.
• Experience teaching language and literature.

• Basic ICT competence, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
