Role and Responsibilities

Reporting To: General Managing Director

The Estate Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management and smooth operation of the estate.

  • Manage daily operations of the estate, including maintenance and repair activities
  • Hire, train, and supervise household staff such as maids, chefs, gardeners, and drivers
  • Coordinate and supervise external contractors including landscapers, builders, and security personnel
  • Plan and execute events on the estate, ranging from small gatherings to large functions
  • Manage the estate budget and handle financial matters such as payment of bills and staff salaries
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure proper upkeep, safety, and security
  • Liaise with estate owners to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local laws and regulations
  • Arrange essential services including laundry, catering, and transportation

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Proven experience working as an Estate Manager or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of property management and maintenance practices
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and handle financial matters effectively
  • Knowledge of event planning and coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Agriculture, Facility Management, or a related field will be an added advantage
