JOB DETAILS:
Position: FIELD ENGINEER
QUALIFICATIONS / PERSONAL PROFILE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or Information Technology
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in field engineering, site installation, maintenance, or operations of telecom towers or network infrastructure
- Knowledge of cell tower equipment (antennas, transmitters, power systems, backup generators) and preventive maintenance
- Competent with Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with network monitoring tools is an added advantage
- Valid driver’s license and relevant safety certifications (working at heights, electrical safety)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, often in remote or challenging environments
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network tower equipment and associated infrastructure
- Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all equipment
- Monitor power systems, antennas, transmitters, and backup generators at field sites
- Document all site activities, maintenance logs, and service reports
